27 May Texas Turnout April 2023 Update
Hello Texas Turnout Supporters!
April has been a HUGE month for our Texas Turnout team as we’ve registered 1232 young people since February of this year! We’ve also participated in over 75 community events on top of visiting 60 high schools, colleges and universities!
We’re not slowing down because early voting has started for the Texas Uniform Election with election date, May 6th, just around the corner. Our Texas Turnout team and coalition partners have been busy planning multiple parties at the polls, phone banks and text banks reminding young people to vote in this important election. In addition to offering information, we are connecting young people with ID support through our partner VoteRiders and offering rides to the polls provided by Rideshare2VoteAware.
Our passionate and driven team, along with our incredible 17 national and statewide coalition partners, have been working tirelessly to build trust within the community and strengthen democracy in the Rio Grande Valley. This is what steady, year-round progress looks like!!
